The Max 660 holds roughly 480 beverages in 636 litres — the largest single-door machine HAHA builds. It is the model we point manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centers toward, and the reason is less about total headcount than about how those sites consume.

Shift patterns break normal sizing assumptions

In an office, demand spreads across a day and a machine drains gradually. On a shift site it does not work like that.

A shift change concentrates a large number of people into a short window, all wanting the same handful of things. Two hundred people coming off a line at the same time will strip the fast movers out of a mid-size machine in one go, and the machine then sits mostly full of slow movers for the rest of the day while looking, on paper, like it still has stock.

That is the failure mode the Max 660 exists to prevent. You are not buying capacity for the daily total — you are buying enough depth on your fastest items to survive a single shift change without going empty on them.

If you have run a smaller machine at a plant and found it kept running dry on water and energy drinks specifically while snacks sat untouched, that is this problem, and more shelf on the same footprint is the fix.

Where it fits

Manufacturing plants and production floors. The core use case.

Warehouses and distribution centers. Often combined with genuine distance from your base, which doubles the argument for capacity.

Large facilities generally — big offices, hospitals, large residential communities, anywhere running 150+ daily users.

Sites that are a drive away. Even at moderate traffic, if a location is 40 minutes out, halving your restock frequency is worth more than the difference in machine cost.

The trade you are making

At 304.2 pounds the Max 660 is 62 pounds heavier than the Max 620 for about 60 more beverages, on the same 31.5-inch width and 1.6 inches more depth.

Width being identical is the important part — if a Max 620 fits the doorway, so does this. The decision is not about access width, it is about whether you have the help to move a 300-pound unit and whether the extra capacity removes service trips.

We wrote a full Max 620 vs Max 660 comparison because it is the most common decision operators bring us.

If you need more than this, the Ultra 1200 is double-door at roughly 756 beverages — but at 53.9 inches wide it will not go through a standard single doorway, so check access before considering it.

Running it on an industrial site

The cloud platform matters more here than anywhere else in the range. Restock alerts that trigger on sales volume rather than a fixed calendar are what let you catch a fast-moving item before a shift change strips it, and the platform generates restock orders rather than making you drive out to look.

Shelf layers hold up to 10 product facings. On a shift site, use that depth on your three or four proven sellers rather than spreading it across variety — the sales-by-product report over a chosen time span will tell you which those are within a few weeks.

If you have staff restocking for you, roles can be scoped to specific machines so you are not handing out your own login.
